Saturday, June 24

10am-noon         Explorers of Nature - for kids ages 4 to 15 to discover nature! This week learn the importance of bees and butterflies, then make a butterfly puddle to take home. Earn a limited-edition t-shirt for attending 5 programs. Registration required at the park office.  $5 per participant or $30 for all 8 sessions through August! Meet at the Log Cabin.

12:30-1:30pm   Safety Day Survival Skills – Meet at Parkside Shelter 2 to learn important wilderness survival tips! Make a paracord safety bracelet!

1:00 - 4              Safety Day – Helicopters, State Highway Patrol, MWCD Rangers, Watercraft officers, Firetrucks What about how they drain the Seneca Lake dam? Come join us at the old baseball fields across from the dam side boat ramp!

 

Sunday, June 25

12-1:30pm         Watershed Hike – Enjoy a relaxing hike around Seneca Lake Park and learn some watershed facts along the way! Hiking shoes are recommended. Bring your own water bottle. Meet at the kayak hut on the Beach.  

2:00– 3:00pm    Sand Castle Contest – Come to the beach for a sand castle building contest! The winner gets bragging rights and a great prize.

4:00- 5:00pm    Rubber Duck Race -  Come get your feet wet at the Rubber Ducky Race! Winners gets a fabulous prize! Ages 5-11.
