Thursday, June 29

9:30-10:30am Coffee & Donuts - Meet at Marina Point Pavilion for FREE coffee and donuts donated by Kennedy’s

6-7pm             Adult BINGO - Meet at Marina Point Pavilion. Bring a 4th of July themed $2 gift per bingo card!

Friday, June 30

All Day             Lot Decorating - Please register your lot by calling the Park Office and give your name and lot number. Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Decorating must be done by 2:30pm, Sat July 1st.

All Day             Photo Contest – Share your best nature photo of wildlife or natural scene! List your name and phone number on the back. Limited to 2 entries per person. Bring your printed submissions to the Park Office by 4pm, Sat July 1st.

4:30-5:30pm  Kids BINGO - Meet at the Log Cabin and bring a $2 candy bar per bingo card.

6:30-8:30pm  Sunset Kayak Tour - Meet at the kayak hut on the beach to enjoy a relaxing sunset tour of kayaking around our beautiful lake! Participants 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. $20 per person. Limited spaces available. Register online at senecapark.mwcd.org under upcoming events.

Saturday, July 1

10am-Noon     Explorers of Nature: Wildlife Underwater - For kids ages 4 to 15 to discover nature! This week learn about the animals living in Seneca Lake, then make a fun dragonfly craft. Earn a limited-edition t-shirt for attending 5 programs. Registration required at the park office. $5 per participant or $30 for all 8 sessions! Meet at the Log Cabin.

Noon-1pm       Bandana Tie Dye - Ages 5-15. Meet at the Log Cabin to tie dye bandanas red, white and blue! Bandanas will be provided, or you may bring your own white, cotton socks. This will be messy. Space is limited. RSVP at the Park Office.

2-3:30pm        Firework Tie Dye - Meet at the Log Cabin. For all ages. Bring your own white, cotton tee, socks or dog scarf and tie dye. Wear them to the fireworks! RSVP at the Park Office.

3-4pm             Lot Decoration & Photo Contest Judging – A member of MWCD will be judging lots at this time and judging the photo contest!

7-10pm           LIVE Music – Dirty Mule will be at Parkside Pavilion 5 & Exit 25 will be at Marina Point Pavilion.

7:30pm           Lot Decorating Winner Announced – The band will announce the winner of the lot decorating contest!

8:30pm           Photo Contest Winner Announced – The band will announce the winner of the photo contest!

Dusk                FIREWORKS – Sit back, relax, and enjoy fireworks at Seneca Lake to celebrate the Fourth of July!

Sunday, July 2

9:30-11:30am Birding by Kayak - Meet at the kayak hut on the beach to enjoy a relaxing tour of kayaking around our beautiful lake while birding. Participants 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. $20 per person. Please bring your own binoculars if possible. Limited spaces available. Register online at senecapark.mwcd.org under upcoming events.

1-2pm             Kids Firework Craft – Meet at the Log Cabin to create your own, unique fireworks with paint! Ages 5 to 15 welcome and may get messy. Nice clothing is not recommended.

2-3pm             Micro Odyssey - Meet at the Log Cabin to explore the world of microorganisms that live in the water. May get wet. Wear clothing that can get messy!

3:15-4:30 pm Adult Wreath Craft – Meet at the Log Cabin and create an Independence Day inspired wreath!

Monday, July 3

11-12 pm        Butterfly Garden – Meet at the Log Cabin to help the Naturalist plant a nutritious, and enriching garden for butterflies!

1-2:30pm        Plant Life Scavenger Hike & Hunt – Meet at the Log Cabin for a guided scavenger hike and hunt. Please bring a small bag or basket/bucket to collect items for the scavenger hunt.

3-4pm             Tiny Terrariums - Create mini terrariums to get a close look at the water cycle. For all ages at the Log Cabin. Dress to get messy! Limited to 8. RSVP at the Park Office.
