Ohio Boating Education Course

If you were born on or after January 1, 1982 Ohio law requires that you complete an approved boating safety education course to operate any powered watercraft greater than 10 horsepower. You can meet Ohio's Boater Education requirement by attending this approved boating education course and passing a proficiency exam.

Course will be led by MWCD Rangers in the Welcome Center. Students must attend the entire course, 8am to 5pm, and pass a proficiency exam. Registration is required by clicking the "Register Now" button below. Course is FREE and limited to 15 attendees.
