Halloween Weekend at Seneca

Add to the festivities! Decorate your campsite for Halloween for a chance to win a prize. Judging will take place on Saturday at 12pm. Top 2 prizes for each area, Marina Point, Parkside, and Parkside Central/Woodlands. Winners will be announced on Saturday evening at the beach.

Friday, October 6

6-7pm           Halloween BINGO (Marina Point) – Try your luck at Marina Point Shelter #2! Bring a $2 prize, plus have a chance to win special prizes. For all ages!

6pm              LIVE Bug Show (Parkside) – Meet at Parkside Shelter #2 for a family-friendly show with Bugman!

7:30pm          LIVE Bug Show (Marina Point) – Meet at Marina Point Shelter #2 for a family-friendly show with Bugman!  

7:30-8:30pm   All About Owls & Hoot Hike (Parkside) – Meet at Parkside Shelter #2 to take a hike to learn about the owls of Ohio! Be prepared for natural surface trails by wearing sneakers or hiking shoes. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

9-11pm          Movie at the Lake (Parkside) – Bring your blankets and camp chairs to the beach parking area to watch a family-friendly movie, rated PG on the BIG screen. You may also watch from your golf cart or car. Please park vehicles towards the back.

Saturday, October 7        

1-2pm           Fall Craft for All Ages (Marina Point) – Meet at Marina Point Shelter #2 to make a bat craft for kids or a fall decoration for adults!

1-2pm           T-shirt Tie Dye (Parkside) - *New Halloween Design* Make a colorful and unique creation in the grass near Parkside Picnic Shelter #2! T-shirts will be available for purchase, cash only. Youth sizes are $5 each, adult sizes are $10 each. Sizes are first come, first served. While supplies last.

3-4pm           Fall Craft for All Ages (Parkside) – Meet at Marina Point Shelter #2 to make a bat craft for kids or a fall decoration for adults!

4:30-6pm       Trick-or-Treat (Marina Point and Parkside) – Pick out your best costume and collect candy at the campers at participating campsites throughout Parkside and Marina Point camp areas. Once you are finished, swing by the concert for a costume contest!

6-8pm           LIVE Animals (Parkside) – Visit with Oglebay Zoo to You and see their fabulous creatures!

6-8pm           Halloween Fun at the Beach (Parkside) – Hang out at the beach before or after your wagon ride, enjoy a food truck, music, gaga ball, cornhole, bonfire, and s’mores. Plus, Seneca Lake hoodies will be on sale. Sizes are first come, first served.

6-8pm           Wagon Rides (Parkside) – Take a ride on the wagon to the fisherman’s cabins to see the spooky sights and pick up a treat! Meet at the beach parking area. $2 per person, limited seats available. Tickets are first come, first served.

6-8pm           LIVE Music: Jhordan Rese (Parkside) – Enjoy live music and hang out by the campfire.
