Seneca Lake Park offers several miles of hiking and biking trails on natural surface trails through the woods surrounding the park. The Buckeye Trail, a 1400 mile trail that winds around Ohio, also crosses Seneca Lake property and can be accessed from the Cemetery or Beech Tree Ridge Trails. Most trails are very challenging with unpredictable trail conditions, so please use caution and be prepared with proper footwear.

Please adhere to the following guidelines while enjoying the trails:

  • Stay on marked trails
  • Keep pets on a leash and clean up after them
  • No motorized vehicles on trails

During the season, Memorial Day through Labor Day, look for weekly scheduled group hikes to explore the trails!
